Bonney Energy Celebrates Successful First AGFEST Appearance

For Bonney Energy, AGFEST 2026 was about far more than simply exhibiting at an event, it was about showing up for the regional communities and industries the business supports every day.

And with more than 55,000 attendees through the gates over the three-day event, the response exceeded expectations.

From the moment the gates opened, the Bonney Energy site remained busy, with visitors stopping by to speak with the team, ask practical questions about fuel storage and lubricants, stock up on AGFEST-exclusive lubricant offers, or simply enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere.

Children lined up for free face painting and tried their luck at the Bonney’s Local claw machine, while parents and business owners took the opportunity to connect directly with Bonney Energy’s fuel and lubricant specialists.

The event also marked a major public showcase of Bonney's Local, Bonney Energy’s new retail concept inspired by the warmth and familiarity of traditional local service stations.

The Bonney’s Local claw machine proved to be a standout attraction across the event, with winners receiving vouchers redeemable at the first Bonney’s Local site in Epping Forest.

Visitors to the stand also had the opportunity to enter Bonney Energy’s AGFEST competition, with one lucky winner taking home a $500 fuel voucher.

According to Kiona Wilson, GM Sales Tasmania at Bonney Energy, one of the most valuable parts of the event was the opportunity to connect directly with customers and hear what mattered most to them.

“A big part of being there was listening and speaking directly with customers, understanding the common questions and challenges they were facing, and using that to shape how we support them,” Ms Wilson said.

“We brought all of our experts together, across both fuel and lubricants, which gave people the chance to ask questions and get clear answers. We wanted to make things simpler, whether that was fuel supply, storage, or getting the right lubricant for the job.”

Bonney Energy’s AGFEST presence brought together specialists from across the business and industry, including lubricant specialist Abdulla Nasser, Adrian from Fuelco, and Bonney Energy team members Mel, Brian, Olivia, Gavin, Gary, Clinton, Holly, Mike and Di.

As Bonney Energy reflects on its first-ever AGFEST appearance, the event reinforced the company’s commitment to regional communities, practical support, and building relationships face-to-face — values that continue to sit at the heart of the business.
