Bonney Energy Launches “People Powering People” as Its Guiding Purpose

Bonney Energy has officially launched People Powering People, reinforcing the purpose that has guided the business since its beginnings in the 1950s.

Proudly Australian-owned and operated, Bonney Energy has grown from a family business in Northern Tasmania into a trusted fuel and lubricants supplier across Tasmania and Victoria. While the business has expanded, its core belief remains unchanged: the work done every day supports the people who keep communities moving.

Chief Executive Officer Greg Niven said People Powering People captures the essence of what Bonney Energy stands for.

“People Powering People is our why, put simply,” Niven said. “We exist to keep communities and businesses moving, enabling people to keep doing what they need to do.”

“From growing crops and transporting goods, to getting kids to school and keeping local communities running, our role may seem simple, but it is essential. We show up, do it properly and make sure we are there for the people who rely on us every day.”

Bonney Energy supports a wide range of industries across its commercial fuel and lubricants operations, supplying quality Ampol fuels alongside premium Mobil™ and Bonney Lubricants products. The business also forms part of a large and growing retail fuel network across Tasmania and Victoria, serving local communities, travellers and transport operators.

Niven said formalising People Powering People brings clarity to the role Bonney Energy plays across both sides of the business.

The launch is supported by Bonney Energy’s first-ever brand video, showcasing the people, industries and communities the business serves across Tasmania and Victoria.
