We'd Like To Reintroduce You To Bonney's Epping Forest
If you’ve travelled the Midlands Highway, there’s a good chance you know Epping Forest Roadhouse.
It’s long been one of those familiar stops between Launceston and Hobart. Somewhere to refuel, stretch your legs, grab a bite and get back on the road.
Now, we’ve given it a bit of a refresh.
Epping Forest Roadhouse has been reintroduced as Bonney’s Local Epping Forest, the first store to bring our new Bonney’s Local concept to life.
Bonney’s Local is our approach to creating the kind of roadside stop people actually want to make. Somewhere warm and welcoming, with fresh food, good coffee, friendly service and everything you need before getting back on the road.
At Epping Forest, that means a refreshed store, a renewed focus on the overall customer experience and plenty of familiar roadhouse favourites still on offer. Think hot bain-marie classics, burgers, rolls, wraps and fresh options made for people on the move.
Coffee has had an upgrade too. We’ve partnered with Tasmanian-roasted Leaping Goat Coffee, because travelling through the Midlands shouldn’t mean compromising on a good cup of coffee.
The refresh has also given us the chance to bring a little more of the Bonney story into the space. Bonney Energy has been part of Tasmania since 1948, and archival photographs featured throughout the store offer a nod to the people, places and communities that have shaped the business over more than 75 years.
So while Epping Forest may look a little different, its role remains much the same.
It’s still a familiar place to stop, refuel, grab something to eat and break up the journey between Launceston and Hobart. Only now, there’s a refreshed space and better coffee waiting inside.
